Tap at the brewpub. Black pour, beige head. Nose is intense coffee: acidic and roasty, apart from this there's dark chocolate, booze, molasses and roasted malts. Taste is moderately sweet n boozy with roasted notes. There's lots of coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of molasses. Closes with a roasted, slightly earthy finish, has a big, somewhat creamy body and soft carbonation. Decent.
