0.33 l bottle from 'Brauart', best before March 2028. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and roasted hazelnut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fairly roasty and a little fruity taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, some licorice, traces of dark fruits and light vanilla, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, a little ashy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious brew, so smooth and intense. I wonder if I can get my hands on the BA version.
A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, resins. Taste of coffee beans, vanilla, strong dark malt, moderate bitterness.
