Bottle from Antarabangsa, Penang. Gushed a hazy golden orange colour with a big, short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, toffee caramel malt, light citrus fruit hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a crisp, slightly watery, light, mineral, citrus fruits, dry light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draught @ BQ - Birra Artigianale di Qualita (Navigli Grande 44), Milan. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, light butter nbotes, sweet fruity, strawberry jam. Flavor is light sweet, malt, yeast, sweet fruit, strawberry, peach. Medium body, average carboantion. 131215

On tap@ Festa della Birra di Rozzano. La vivacità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza apprezzabile. Il tendenza al naso è di luppolo, poi lievito e malto, infine orzo. Il cappello è di schiuma cremosa e aderente, a bollicine fini, con un bel pizzo finale. La frizzantezza è a bollicine medie. La consistenza del liquido è opalescente, di colore giallo torbido. Il corpo è rotondo, con un dolce medio bilanciato da un amaro medio. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa lunga. Il gusto è godereccio e le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è lungo e pulito. Il retrogusto è intenso.

From cask. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp citrusy and light peachy hoppy. Bitter, crisp fruity and light citrusy hoppy. Lingering crisp fruity.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours clear golden, nose is sweet toffee, floral, taste is similar, dry finish.

Sample from the brewery. Appearance - golden and light green chinks. Quite hazy. Generous head. Nose - apple sauce, light lime. Taste - more of the same really. Sweet apple followed by a big lime tang. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - quite a lot of flavour for a Golden Ale. Great stuff.

Sample draft @ BQ (via Losanna), Milano. Dorée, col blanc léger. Arôme est fruité agrumes sur une pointe tropicale laissant de belles effluves fruitées-herbacées. Palais est léger et pétillant, houblonné noble amérisant, et un citronné léger complété par un fruité plus tropical. Malt basique, rappelant un type pilsner.
