Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of yeast, spice, some dark malts. Taste has full bodied malt, coffee notes, some nutmeg and cinnamon. Palate has yeast, iron notes, more roasted malt. Good.

Dark pour with a small lingering light brown head. It smells of roast malt and spicy yeast. The flavor is of roast malt, chocolate, holiday spices, and a little Belgian yeast. It’s full bodied and pleasant.

Deep red-brown body with an initially thick and pillowy brown head that diminishes to a narrow ring. Aroma tart with fruit leather and spice. Body crisp, mostly spice and fruit leather with notes of brown sugar and a caramely, moderately bitter finish. This is a solid holiday beer that I'd be happy to drink again.
