On tap at Off the Rail, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has soft English bready malt, a hint of toffee, and very gentle hops. Flavour is muddled, with a fungal character dominating, barely any malt expression, even less hop expression. 10 years and running, and this brewery hasn’t even figured out how to brew a core beer of theirs competently. Very bad.

Bottle. Amber with an off white head. Aroma of singed breadcrust, peach, grapefruit. Pretty much how it tastes too with prominent bready malt and then quite firm bitterness at the end. Not bad.

Good clear copper body and okay foam. Nice deep malt on the nose, licorice, gingerbread. Flavour is dark bread, soft pine. Good carbonation yet too watery for a pale ale. Not bad nonetheless.

355ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy caramel malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, malty, biscuit, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
