A full bodied Amber Ale, just like your favourite Pony. First concocted during a long winter night in our Adelaide Hills brew shed. An unfiltered, caramelly, malty and citrusy hop flavour fire brew that blows the rust off our brewery shed every time we brew it. The Pony says, this will keep me company.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney and slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of orange and mandarine, a touch of red fruit, minimally dark bready, malty background. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy, minimally citrusy, slightly fruity, hints of lemon and lemon zest, red fruit, a minimally leafy touch, minimally bready (Graubrot), malty basis. Not bad.

From a 330ml bottle on 13/10/2013. Pours a fairly clear lightish amber with a small head. Has a light malty aroma with just a hint of fruit. In the mouth, it’s a bit of a surprise with lots of sweet stone fruit holding sway against some caramel and toffee. The hops are mild but more than sufficient to satisfy. Has a fullish body and quite lively carbonation. All up, this is a very nice amber.
