He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head.
In the realm of all that is tart and sour, Jelly King reigns supreme.
Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop, harnessing the prowess of lactic acidity, and coming to a can near you without a pesky slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of immediate gratification.
What it smells like, what it tastes like, what it looks like: Jelly King combines bright and juicy hop aromatics with a refreshingly tart base, and is bursting with notes of fuzzy peach, tangerine, and grapefruit.

Lovely stuff. I bought a bottle of this a couple years ago but accidentally broke the bottle in a subway station. Glad to finally try it.

On tap @As-Is. Stemware. Hazy, medium piss yellow pour. Sour dark stone fruit nose, a little grease. Frothy, thin, sour pie filling. Crusty malt, salt, itchy char on the tail. Meh.

Hazy straw-yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Lactic, herbal nose. Body has a nice bite, grassy with light fruit (lemon) and a touch of pine. I'd drink more than one if it wasn't this pricy.

bottle. date 04 mar 2021 (not sure, bottle does not say if it is best before date or brew date, but my guess is it is brew date) clear yellow, large offwhite head. aroma is straw, sour beer, hops, grassy hops, aromatic hops, very good balance betw hops and sour beer. flavor is very easy drinking, sour and yellow fruit citrussy, some exotic frutiness below that, herbal hoppy balance.
