Opaque, dark reddish-brown beer with a thin head. Smell is light, boozy fruit. Taste is fruit cake, rum, vanilla and as the finish begins to settle in there's a drier, slightly nutty hint to it to balance out the boozy sweetness of the fruit. The only criticism I have of this is that it doesn't have a bit more oomph. I was expecting a big, hefty, fruity malty thing and while it's got a nice blend of flavours it's surprisingly tame for it's ABV.
