0.33l bottle from the brewpub. pours an opaque dark brown with a steady beige head and a nice lacing. aroma of toasted malts, rye bread, wood, apples. flavour of wood, chewed pencil, dried fruits.

On tap the at the brewpub. 21/07/2015 two days after the Etape du Tour. Light hazed amber / dark orange coloured pour with a fading greyish cream coloured head. Aroma is belgian yeast, tangy apple, caramel and some phenols. Touch of alcohol on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of rough grains, honey, tangy apple, light wood, raisin, little toasted malts. Palate is semi sweet, medium / ligh bodied, dry finish.
