On tap at the brewpub Sf. Opaque black coloured pour with a lasting creamy light tan head. Aroma is solvent, straight off the bat, bitter roast, apple. Flavour is composed of black malts, ashy roast, bitter cocoa, substantial hot alcohol. Headache inducing. Palate is medium creamy, highish carbonation, alcohol bite in the finish. I struggled to finish the taster. Lingering butter roast and dark coco powder. Not much Belgian character.
