Keg at IMBC 2015; clear amber pour with a big frothy off white head, big tropical hop aroma with a hint of spice, taste classic sauvin hop action along with some zesty citrus, bitter finish.

Bottle @ derat, medium sample. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of tropical fruit, flowery, white wine, citrus. Medium bitterness. Nelson sauvin is shining in this one. Great balance, lovely beer.

Bottle @ Cafe Derat. Hazy golden colour, with an off white head. Nose is pine, grass, citrus, a bit syrupy. Flavour is pine hops, light malty and caramel, a bit sticky. Medium bitterness. Good stuff.

Tuatara Sauvinova Single Hop Pale Ale made with Nelson Sauvin 5.2% Pouring a lovely copper with a hoppy fruity aroma that has some prickly earthy notes of briarwood. Good but less intriguing than the APA. The taste is sweetly malty with that bitter prickly earthy hop character and light sweetness. Less fruity than the APA and more bitter with a dry finish. Damn good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Brewcraft. Copper amber pour thin dense. Aroma - wow! Sauvin for sure. White grape, white wine, some pine. Delicious. Taste is not quite as exciting, but still quite good and very distinctive. Dry dry white wine bitterness with some malt at the end to add some sweetness. Very dry finish. Excellent showcase for the Nelson Sauvin hop. Tasty.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/9/2015. Pours a clear medium golden with a small bright white head. Has a pleasant, light fruity zesty aroma. In the mouth itβs dominated by zesty citrus fruit - lemon, grapefruit, orange, with some peach in the mix as well. The Nelson Sauvin hops are lovely, firm and herbal, with a good dose of lingering grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A really nice drop featuring a lovely hop.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Mucky gold. Messy, sticky, off white head. Punchy Sauvin hit. Some earthiness. Some flora. Soft malts. Taste is herby, oily bitter. Has an earthy dryness to it, too. Clean, crisp palate. Finishes resinous bitter.

On tap at Cascade, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh Nelson Sauvin hops, with tangy hoppiness showcasing. Flavour brings out tangy citrus hops and white wine notes. Very fresh and flavourful. As fresh as you'll get a New Zealand pale ale over here. Very nice.
