Can at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, malt, honey, citrus. Taste is the same, rather meh forgettable

Blikje aan de bron gekocht. Kleur is zo goed als zwart, de kraag fijn en lichtbruin, redelijke retentie. Geur van drop, roggebrood, geroosterde mout, dank hops en misschien een vleugje honing. Retronasaal is het droppig, bitterig, hoppig, toast, roggebrood. Smaak is redelijk bitter en iets zoetig, droppig. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling. Medium body. Droppig bitterige finish. Een beetje messy, maar wel lekker.

24/IV/25 - 33cl can from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: VIII/2026, BW2503 (2025-389) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Clear brown beer, small creamy beige head, a little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, a bit yeasty, hoppy, gentle roast, some tropical fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, gentle roast up front, a bit sweet, some caramel notes, fruity touch, nice! Aftertaste: very juicy, hoppy, a bit resinous, nice and fruity, slightly roasted finish, nice one!

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Roasty with fruity hop, orange, roasted malt, notes of chocolate and tropical fruit. Mild to medium bitter taste. Not really picking up the honey, but that's not a loss.
