Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a (very) dark reddish-brown with minimal off-white head. The aroma has coffee, malts and hints of lactose. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with some underlying bitterness. The first flavours to hit the taste buds are malts, chocolate and cola, followed quickly by coffee with hints of honey and caramel coming later. Some fruitiness in the finish. This is reasonable.
