Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized fluffy tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish with cocoa, toasty malts and a hint of coffee. The flavor was toasty malts, cocoa and hints of coffee and vanilla. Turns a bit dry on the medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.
