Draft at the brewpub, Osaka. Hazy cola brown with a tan head. Aroma of spice, cardamom, cloves and cola. Flavour is moderate sweet and above light bitter. Light bodied with light moderate carbonation.

Tap at Depaas, Osaka. Poured a slightly hazy brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is light malt, Coca Cola, light spices. The flavour is light bitter sweet, with a crisp, grainy, light liquorice, aniseed, spicy palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Completely off the wall but not so bad. Quite drinkable at the end of the day.

Tap at the brew pub. Orange-brown color, clear, with a fine head. Very spicy nose, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie-like spices, with some chocolate notes and very light roast. Slightly cola-like. Flavor is on the sweet side and very spicy. Body somewhat thing. This is not a style I like very much, but I was surprised at how clean the beer was. It wasn't a case of trying to hide flaws with spices.
