Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a small foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was bourbon, coconut, toasty malts, cocoa and cola. The flavor was bitter an boozy with vanilla, coconut and bourbon elements and toasty malts and rum underneath. Long finish. Medium body and surprisingly thin. The booziness really overwhelms quickly. Tasty but should be better.

4 oz pour on draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont for the Manor Hill tap takeover. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of oak, dark fruit, whiskey. Tastes of dark chocolate, whiskey, oak, dark fruit, some licorice. Medium-full body with a semi-dry finish. Whiskey forward but not over the top. Solid first attempt, could be very nice with some fine tuning.
