Winner of Best Beer at Carlisle Beer Festival 2024, and a little too popular for its own good! This chocolate brownie stout is the one everyone’s begging for, and let’s just say, our poor brewer’s working overtime to keep up with the madness. As soon as you say ‘I’ll have another one, please,’ it’s gone in a flash! Does exactly what it says on the tin... but way more delicious, like a naughty little brownie in a glass.

Wigan Beer Festival 2026, Beer#4. Dark brew with mild chocolate in both aroma and taste, and a smooth enough texture.

Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge. Pours pitch black with a medium head. Aroma is cakey milk chocolate and roast. Taste has milk chocolate brownie throughout with a little roast.

Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton. Pours very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s an aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and hints of alcoholic strength. Pretty much the same in the mouth as well though there it is sweet with a creamy cakey texture. There’s a lttle bitterness in the boozy finish. This is decent, but there isn’t much evidence of stout characteristics. Bit of a gimmick.
