Haven't seen this beer for years, my granddad used to drink it in the Working Man's Club back in the 1960's. Looks like lager. Clean and clear light golden with a snow white head. Not much going on aroma and taste wise but it's refreshing and not unpleasant.

On tap at Butlers Bell, Stafford. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a small almost white foamy head. Not much of an aroma – just some malty hints. In the mouth it is sweet with malts and just a trace of hops. Some bitterness and summer fruits comes through later. It’s OK, but terribly bland and forgettable.
