Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal cream head. Not much of an aroma, just vague traces of malts and autumn fruits. In the mouth it is sweet and somewhat watery, with rye grains and malts plus hints of hops and appes. Finish is slightly dry with hints of treacle. This is reasonable, though not quite the beer you would expect from appearance.
