Crisp clear amber and light bronzed body with almost no head at all (cask). Aroma of pungent mango and tropical fruits with some light residual hops and some mild malt depth. Medium-bodied; Super strong and pungent spicey habanero notes with a lot of hops still around and some very subtle fruit sweetness, but the spices really come out strong. Aftertaste shows a little bit of grass, some fruits, alcohol and a good amount of hops, but the habanero notes dominate and the flavour of the IPA is great from the cask. Overall, this one just works, especially with the right temperature from the cask, but if you can handle spices, try this - it’s got a lot of heat, but it’s very nice and works out well! I sampled this pint on cask/draught on 28-August-2015 for US$8,00 at TJ Stone’s in Alexandria, Virginia.
