Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a cloudy copper with medium sized foamy white head and good lacing. The aroma has chestnuts and malts. In the mouth it is sweet, smooth and creamy. Flavour initially is just maltds with hints of ginger. After a while some nuts and caramel come through as well, leading to a slightly bitter finish. This is quite nice.
