Cask at Five Lamps, Derby. Pours a pale straw with minimal white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma, just vague grains and generic citrus. In the mouth, the sweet juicyness is the first sensation. Gradually flavours come through – floral hops, pine, lemon and citrus. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is decent – better than some Thornbridge beers I’ve had recently.
