Crystal clear light copper and peach coloured body with a very thin, half centimetre tall of-white head. Aroma of light spices, apples, pears, yeast, grain, cinnamon (somehow), coriander seed, bread and a bit more of a funky fruit note. Light-bodied; Strong fruit flavours at first with apples, pears, apricots and peaches all noticeable along with some slightly salty and wheatie flavours right behind. Aftertaste shows some mellow spices like the coriander seed, canella, grain and oaky funk along with some more noticeable aging qualities like yeast, grain and funk all around the edges. Overall, an interesting beer that shows some complexities, but leaves the style behind in the dust with way more spices, grain and funk than the style typically shows, but nice to try, especially on draught! I sampled this 32 ounce growler fill at K-1 Beer and Wine in Arlington, Virginia on 28-October-2017 for US$5,99 sampled at home in Washington a day later on 29-October-2017.
