Do you remember when a beer with fruit additions tasted like a BEER with fruit additions? Do you remember when all natural fruit additions were ACTUAL fruit? Well, we do and always have. This variation of our "Poor Righteous" has copious amounts of guava puree and maintains a strong focus on balance. It's a tropical escape from the pumpkin mayhem. Drink Righteous... guava style!

Hazy amber and copper coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and rather piney hops - very nice throughout. Medium-bodied; Strong herbal and grassy flavours with a light tropical fruit and fresh hop flavour along with sweetness from the fruits and a good mellow malt that melds well with everything. Aftertaste shows the grain, a bit of the crisp malts, but more of the hops and way more of the tropical fruit than anything else. Overall, a very nice blend of an IPA with tropical fruits and pungency, while keeping it fresh. I sampled this pint on draught at Kloby’s Smokehouse in Columbia, Maryland on 12-July-2017 for US$6,00.
