Fairly hazy golden coloured body with a large-ish, four centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a pretty ugly lace on the glass. Aroma of grass, acidic hops, some bitter elements from grass to hay and showing some light fruit and resin as well, but a subdued malt flavour or complexity. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and dry flavour with a bit of a resinous and herbal flavour at the beginning with a good deal of malt and balance a littler further out, that also has some grain and funk up front. Aftertaste shows fairly well, the balance is about right, but this isnβt something to search out for on a trip. Overall, a nicely balanced beer with some decent hop profiles, but no real density of complexity at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wine, Cheese and More in Chincoteague, Virignia on 28-May-2017 with the bottle purchased for US$3,65. sampled at home in Washington on 24-June-2017.
