After brewing this intense double IPA with more than 10 different hops and consistently delivering it faster than any bottled IPA on the planet, we decided to do something different with this Stone Enjoy By IPA—we took it to another level, again. Puréed tangerines were added to the batch to create a devastatingly fresh IPA with a tang of tangerine. The flavors yielded by this addition to the recipe meld beautifully with the bitterness of the hops. True to this series, Stone Enjoy By Tangerine IPA is brewed specifically NOT to last, and should be enjoyed within 37 days.
Although still very similar to our classic version of Stone Enjoy By IPA (it is the same recipe, after all), the tangerine adds a more intense citrus element to the beer. We first made this variation in 2015 as a very small batch and loved it so much that we had to find a date for it in 2016.

22 ounce el. bottle. Amber orange color topped by a moderate frothy white head. Fragrant tropical fruit aroma, redolent of tangerine and resiny hops. Flavor follows nose with addition of complex toasted malt and citrus peel. Sweet malt and tropical fruit hops finish with notes of vanilla. Just like heaven. Easily drinkable and 9.4% ABV is barely noticeable.

Bottle. Pour is a clear orangish gold with a decent enough head and an aroma that at times reminds me of nothing other than circus peanuts. Sometimes it makes me think of citrus that is more respectable, however. Flavor is a little bit circus peanutty, too. Kind of like you took an Enjoy By and replaced the resin with circus peanut. That said, I kinda like it.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Slightly hazy at first but clears up after some time. Golden orange with a finger of off-white head. Aromas of tangerine and orange citrus, floral notes, a little booze and malt. Tastes of tangerine and orange citrus, candied orange, light booze, some floral notes, a little malt. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel.

Bottled on April 23, 2016.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a soft hazy burnt orange color with a light transparency to it. Light carbonation rose at a nice pace to fill a one finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice even pace. Thin messy lacing roamed around the glass.
The smell initially started with the sweet tangerine up front, bright and full, gentle sweet peel, bitterness - in the rind, and then the sweet danky onion.
The taste leans more towards the sweet tangerine pulp, some peel. Bitterness is more subdued.
On the palate, this one sat between good sipper and good sessionable feel. Sweetness isn’t cloying, but substantial enough to blend with the bitterness hitting my tongue.
Overall, another really nice Enjoy By series beer with the tangerine showing just enough emphasis.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of resinous floral hops, pink grapefruit, orange pulp, nice and pleasant. In mouth, a beautiful complex mix of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, tropical fruit, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at Spinrsx tasting.

Bottle shared by Todd, thanks for the opportunity. Slightly hazy golden color with a smattering of white bubbles on top. Citrus on the nose in spaces with hints of pine and sweet bready maltiness. Great beer glad I got to try it,.

Draft at Zeno’s. Poured a golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was strong resin notes, with some grassy character and a nice citrus character. Light citrus, tropical fruit notes. Much juicier than the regular version.
