Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy reddish-mahogany color with a thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of cherry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart cherry, oak, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a black cherry and berry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle shared by Bob, thanks! Pours a near clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart red fruits with a bit of tobacco and grains backing. Flavor has sweet and tart cherry with sweet grains and bread.
