This beer pours a clear mahogany-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sparse strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, caramel, dark fruit and hops. Full-bodied with a sweet caramel malt character and flavors of boozy fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet and boozy with a lingering malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
