Sample at the brewpub during Jackie O’s 13th Anniversary Extravaganza on 01/04/2019. Inky black pour with a thin tan head that recedes quickly to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt, chocolate and almond. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, almond and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a boozy almond aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.
