Sample at the taproom during the Pints against Poaching event on 10/28/2018. Brown-black color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of roast malt, almond and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of almonds, roasted malt and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a nutty and malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
