Sample at the taproom. Cloudy brownish-copper color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Aroma of oak, funky yeast, tart fruit and malt. Medium body with a vinous oaky character and flavors of blackcurrant, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart with a berry and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.
