Poured from a bottle courtesy of myself. Aroma is straight candied, roast coconut. Some light chocolate notes with medium light nut notes. Some light caramel notes. Very light roast notes. This smells just like an almond joy. Pours a black color with a medium sized, fairly thick, light mocha head that slowly recedes to a small film on the edges. Medium light lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a medium light roast note. Medium light dark chocolate note with moderately strong coconut notes. Some toasted coconut character adds a bit of nuttiness. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and does come across a bit thin with medium carbonation. Moderate astringency from the toasted coconut and low alcohol warmth. Overall, the aroma is great but the toasted coconut in the flavor is a bit astringent and also a bit oily. I have never really said this about Eclipse before but this is a bit thin. The 2018 variant is nicer and has a more rounded coconut note and less astringency than the earlier variant. A better, fuller mouthfeel as well. I'd give it a 4.1

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong coconut oil and roast. Slick mouthfeel, strong coconut, roast, chocolate, vanilla, wood, bourbon, very good
