Sample during Blarney Wine Festival 2017 on 03/18/2017. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of roasted malt, bourbon and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt and dark fruits. The finish is boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
