Sample at the brewpub. Jet black color with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Bourbon, coffee and vanilla aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, coffee and malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and vanilla mocha aftertaste. Good beer all around.
