Sample at the tap room. This beer is a dark brownish-black color with a little ruby around the edges, and a medium foamy light tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, roast malt and dark chocolate. The finish is dried fruits and malt. Pretty good overall.
