Sample at the Ballast Point tasting room in Temecula. The beer pours a dark golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
