Nice very slightly hazy light copper and amber coloured body with a small, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of earth, metal, light malt, a touch or two of hops and a note of apricot and light fruit. Medium-bodied; Assertive earthy and biscuity maltiness with some light hop elements, a bit of grain and metal and finishing a touch bittered with the hops and alcohol showing throughout. Aftertaste is pretty strong with the malt, alcohol and bitterness from the metallic hops coming near the end. Overall, not such a bad IPA but not a great one, however that, sadly, was expected! That said, this was nice to sample and better than I expected throughout! I sampled this tall boy, sixteen ounce can purchased from Vintage Sellers in Great Falls, Montana on 20-June-2016 for US$2,75 sampled at home in Washington on 05-September-2016.
