Draught at Ales & Lagers, Kuala Lumpur. Cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- chinesse food: soya sauce, spices, pepper, vegetable: celery, parsley, salt. FLAVOR- neutral, smooth malt base with tones of citrus and chinesse food again, tomato sauce. Light to medium bodied. Really interesting and for me tasty.

On tap at REXKL, pours a cloudy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fantastically woody and spicy, with a melange of spices I can't recall pick out - there's garlic, a little fennel, earthy tea, and wood. Flavour is very dry and woody, with lots of garlic, wood, herbal and fungal notes, and more wood. Very dry, almost bone dry - with a woody, garlicy finish. Unusual stuff. I don't hate it, I don't love it - it's a fun wacky beer.

Tap at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is burnt treacle, herbal tea. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a light, slightly watery, herbal tea, big Indian methi, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The really overriding flavour is dank dry methi leaves soaking in water. That’s great for a curry, but not sure about a beer.
