A year in French Ruby Port barrels brought our already complex and playful Abbey Reserve Quad to new heights of flavor. Notes of booze-soaked bananas and candied raisins sail over a Belgian-yeasty base, with strong doughy malt undertones. Port fruitiness cuts through the palate, providing a perfect winter warmer with more punch than prior iterations.

Sample during the It's Beignet while, so Parrish the Thought of Deserting Oil of Us for this Road Trip Tasting on 06/26/2021. Dark mahogany-brown pour with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of dark fruits, earthy yeast, caramel malt and a touch of hops. The finish is fruity yeast and malt. Good beer overall.
