0,33l bottle at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks for this one. Bottled 23.11.2016. BB 23.11.2026. black color, small dark coffee-colored head. smells of vanilla, cocoa, cocoa shake, bit musty, caramel. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes strong of vanilla, cocoa, some peppery notes, burned malts, earthy, bit boozy, caramel, light licorice, light glueish notes. finishes lightly sweet with strong vanilla, cocoa and boozy notes. nice one overall, but flavors are all over the place, could use a bit better balance, also rather strong of the vanilla (which is not really my thing). Overall still quite good though. 7, 4, 7, 3, 16

Bottle 330ml (BB 23.11.2026). Black with brown head. Aroma is delicate but full of bitter chocolate and cocoa, a lot of cocoa. The same in taste, full of cocoa, bitter chocolate and lots of cocoa again and again, realy nice taste. Beer is medium body with small sweetness in aftertaste and also delicate booze but delicate, the feeling is like semisweet, chocolate liqueur. But beginning is totally different, bitter, dry, even wooden, very good balanced. Great, with cocoa character, imperial stout, for long, long tasting.
