Sample at the taproom. Jet black pour with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, malt, chocolate and vanilla. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, oaky vanilla and earthy hop. The finish is oaky and roasty with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
