Sample from 2019 batch at the brewpub during Jackie O’s 14th Anniversary Extravaganza on 01/10/2020. Slightly cloudy copper-amber color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of berries, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with a tart cherry and berry character and notes of oak, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a lingering cherry and berry aftertaste. Good beer all around.
