Sample at the brewpub. Dark brownish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sparse strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and fruit. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
