A unique and complex blend of flavors and aromas from barrel aging were imparted to our award winning BORIS the Crusher Oatmeal Imperial Stout. This iconic Kentucky Bourbon barrel was selected by The Winking Lizard and had these extra staves added: Seared French Oak, Toasted Frenc Spice, Seared French Cuvee, and Roasted French Mocha.

Sample from bottle at Lizardville Westerville during the Hoppin' Frog Night at All Lizardvilles! event on 03/14/2019. Oily black pour with a thin beige head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Sparse patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, fudge and malt. The finish is boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Very good all around.
