Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It's matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt.

330ml can. Poured a crystal clear copper colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, resin, big woody hops. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a crisp, malt, woody resin hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Just as it says on the tin, this beer is all about the bittering hops.

Can from The Beerhive. Clear golden/amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine resin and fig roll. Flavour of apple, menthol and raw hops. Medium body with a oily texture. Soft fizz. Bitter and mega hoppy; unbalanced but fun.

330mml. can. Tasted on the 19/12/2018 at home. Clear amber to copper colour with a medium white head. Aroma is resinous hops, caramel malts, slightly fruity and honey. Taste is also very resinous and hoppy leading to a medium bitter finish. Good. Next one please

A full-bodied IPA with a really nice aroma of grapefruit, peach, pine resin, honey and lychee. The bitterness is balanced in the mouth with a little bread and honey. Perhaps a slight wateriness is the only downside.

(Bottle) Pours hazy amber brown with big dense pale tan head. Lovely aroma, mainly pine with hints of citrus. Medium body with plenty of nice soft carbonation. Great taste, with plenty going on. There’s pleasant light toffee sweetness apparent at the start. Refreshing fruity flavours emerge and a replaced with a developing hoppy bitterness that lasts.
