Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It's matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt.

Can. Clear reddish golden body with a small off-white head. Refreshing fruity aroma with malt. Flavor is super smooth malty with fruity hops and pleasant bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Nice and balanced beer with several different qualities, e.g. far from a one dimensional IPA.

Lots of pine and a touch of green onion but not on NEIPA levels. Grapefruit. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Bitter end. Tap at Mitr.

Hazy amber colour with wispy head. Aroma and flavour have toasty notes and orangey citrus. Quite cakey.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Earthy, citra, twigs, citrus. Taste is pretty bitter, very earthy again. Not so sure about this.

Thin tight bubbly beige head left a collar on a clear reddish brown still body. Dank aroma of pine, marmalade, resin, stewed fruit & sweet citrus. Medium bodied, thick & viscous over the tongue with a clean finish. Bitter/Sweet tastes of resin, pine, citrus, syrup, hops & over ripe fruit. Excellent West Coast style.

330ml can. Clear amber with a beige head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, pine, toffee. Taste is resinous, piney, grapefruit, citrus, light sweet toffee, very bitter finish which is nice. Medium body, soft carbonation. Unfortunately 6 months old as it reached the UK which isn't great.

Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Floral aroma with a citrus edge and resin. Copper brown. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Medium bitter. Initially citrusy before it gets malty. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry partly astringent finish. Decebt enough if unexciting.
