A Katalin Cárnő egy hamisítatlan, komplex, gazdag russian imperial stout, ami magán hordozza a kategória jegyeit. A típus jó példája, melyet az is bizonyít, hogy 2013-ban a rozsnyói sörverseny Grand Champion söre lett.

On tap @ Malata, Szeged. Black coloured with beige head. Coffee, liquorice, and some cocoa make up the aroma. Cocoa, coffee and strong fruity notes appear in aroma. Medium bodied, softly carbonated. Not outstanding, but still a decent one.

Tap at Hedon Bazilica Tap Room, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqouirce, light coffee, chocolate. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter with a smooth, rich, earthy, sweet chocolate, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Black color with brown shine, big beige head, lasting. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee. Taste is roasted, coffee, licorice, but in the end comes a not pleasant taste like when you do coffee in a dirty machine. Good bitterness. Medium body. It's a stout, but labelling this beer as an Imperial Russian Stout it's a joke, there is no sense at 6.0%
