Pilot Series #14 - Rosehip and Rooibos Winter Ale

Bottle at home. Nose is rosehip mainly, decent, deep fruity. In taste the rosehip is there too, quite definite with an interesting, fruity-floral touch which I reckon must be the tea. In the finish there's a very apparent bitterness that's not too upfront, but lasts quite long. Light bodied with average carbo. Not bad at all, but not really my cup of tea either.

Tap at Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a hazy reddish brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, herbal, light red berry fruits, aromatic hop. The flavour is light sweet with a grainy, earthy, fruity, spicy, mineral, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied average carbonation. Not my favourite beer. It feels like it’s all over the place, not knowing what it’s meant to be.
