Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Surprisingly this is my first from this brewery. Clear gold, thin white head. Bitter grapefruit, biscuit, touch of lime, light herbal note in finish. Light to medium bodied, drying and tangy. Not bad.

Cask at Beerbohm, Lichfield. Pours a chrome yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is unremarkable. In the mouth it is briefly juicy with sweet malts before fruity / traditional hops kick in on a base of cereal grains. Some sips give hints of peppersw too. Finish is dry and hoppy. Rather nice. I would say it’s more of an English style IPA than an American Pale.

Bottle from Tanners in Bridgnorth. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light toffee malt, skunky, light barnyard, citrus fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, malt, fresh fruity, light pepper spice, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied white average to soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at St Matthews Hall (JDW), Walsall. Straw, clear, with a small, uneven white head. Light aroma of pomelo with some medicinal astringency. Lovely little bittersweet taste with some light juicy bitterness at the end of the sip. Body's watery but I kind of expected that. Decent stuff from a local micro.

Cask at the Chequers Inn, Stourbridge. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and lemon. Taste has straw throughout with a soapy lemon finish.
