[ As Evil Twin Michigan Maple Jesus ].Dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, dark malt, sweet malt, maple syrup, alcohol - booze, dark chocolate - vanilla - bourbon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, cake, maple syrup. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcholic. [20170203] 8-3-9-4-17

Bottle @Curing Lillquist’s man-flu. Black, sall light tan head. Aroma has barrel, vanilla, bourbon. Sweet flavour, wood and vanilla, bourbon. Sweetness well balanced by good boozy bite. Sticky and warming. Very good.

Bottle, 12%. Distinct vanilla aroma, seems to smell of bourbon also. Black colour. Very small brown head. The flavour is very sweet with a distinct vanilla note and a mild yet distinct bourbon note. Very sweet, but actually partly balanced by the vanilla and bourbon.

Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with small tan head. Clear aroma of malt, barrel, vanilla and chocolate, with notes of fruit. Sweet flavour of the very same ingredients. Sweet afteraste with roasty and boozy notes. Warming alcohol presence. A perfect gift for Teddy Bear. And me, too :-)

12oz bottle thanks to Steve. 3 into the Jesus lineup. Dark black pour with small head that subsides to ring. More maple and booze, syrupy and sweet. Molasses and roast grains, thick and slippery. Mildly smoky.

12oz bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out black with a ring of a head. Nose is booze maple sweetness chocolate vanilla. Taste is more of the heavy booze maple chocolate ash.

Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours dark brown-black without head. Aroma is sweet, malt, roast, booze, black bread. Flavor is sweet and bitter, syrup, roast, malt, booze, maple, chocolate. Finish is sweet and boozy. Overall: very good, but too boozy.

Bottle bought @ the Mikkeller webshop. Viscous pitch black pour with a creamy dark mocha head. Heavy roasted malts & dark roast coffee nose on the verge to hints of green bell peppers. Light smoke, fudge & plenty of bitter chocolate. Charred wood, light bourbon & light buttery maple syrup. Sweet, bitter, malty, roasty & tiny spicy.
